Beach Wheelchair
Information
Following successful fundraising through the 2020 Island Art for Giving exhibition and a JustGiving raffle fundraiser in 2022, we have purchased a manual, all-terrain adult wheelchair that will help allow more people to access the beaches around Harris.
This wheelchair is recommended for use from Horgabost Beach on the west side of Harris due to its easier road access and flat beach. If you wish to use it elsewhere, it will be the user's responsibility to ensure that the terrain is appropriate for the wheelchair and to transport it to the desired location.
