Horgabost

Horgabost. 

Place name:

The ‘Horga’ part of the word comes from a place of burial in old Norse and the ‘bost’ means a farm stedding. The burial chamber is still visible and comprised at one point of 5 stones standing and a large table stone. They have since collapsed, possibly when the road was widened.
